At 15, I registered in an evening class in psychology, since then I have been drawn to understanding people and what goes on in their world. Life took a turn in my mid-40s which led me to combine my own experience and personal therapy journey to retrain. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.

As a neurodiverse therapeutic counsellor, I can empathise with the experience of the neurodivergent individual. I am a passionate believer in neuroaffirming therapy which has, without doubt, changed my own life.

I work with many kinds of adult clients with a broad range of presenting issues, the common theme is a desire to be truly heard and to be free to speak.

There may be humour when appropriate, swearing when nothing else will do, I will gently point out patterns and dig deeper when it’s right.

We will work collaboratively to ensure you have the best type of counselling to suit your needs. If I am not the one for you, I can help refer you onwards.

I work both in private practice (Leigh-on-Sea / Southend-on-Sea / Online) and within HM Prison and Probation Service.

I am fully insured, hold an enhanced DBS, adhere to UKGDPR rules and the high ethical standards of the BACP.
